Anybody who enjoys "death" better see a doctor.

Now the sunis will be more determined than ever to kill as many of our soldiers as they can.
Those families who are going to lose their loved ones should remember who sent their sons in Iraq.

Sadly Bush values more Saddam's death than the lifes of many US soldiers.

I've talked to MANY. The media has taken this war and blown it up to be the next 'Nam. And you my friend have fallen into their trap.

I am sorry to disappoint you. But the Bush's approval rating is below 39% and the public does not like his handling of the war.

Many of our troops want to be at home and feel they are not fighting for a good cause.


Saddam's death is not worth the life of a single US soldier.

If you insist you care so much about us, why don't you go in Iraq?

Isn't there something in the bible that says police and other authority appointed protectors are instilled with the power to carry out such acts as they see fit?
I know it's against the "eye for an eye" thing and the love thy enemy thing... but I think that only applies to us regular people, and not those appointed by God... something like that. Anyways, I think thats how a true christian can be happy knowing Saddams dead... because it was done under the authority of God, carried out by the right people.
I'm not even religious... so I'm not 100% on this, but there has to be some justification or else religion is so rediculous it's laughable.

Im sorry g-man, but the soldiers are NOT making a difference. They may think they are, and maybe in their immediate vicinity the shit isn't so bad, but there is a civil war going on over there. Everything's gone to hell in a handbasket, more people have died since Hussein was capitulated then when he was in power, three thousand of OUR guys are dead, and for what? And it's only going to get worse unless they start letting our military do what NEEDS to be done without having one hand tied behind its back. And just because i believe this does not make me unamerican, so get off of your "widdus or againus!" bandwagon.

I was against this war from the very beginning. The U.S. should not be the world police. We have enough of our own problems without letting the bull loose in the china shop in other places in the world. This administration and war is bankrupting us, which is ironic since Bush changed the bankruptcy laws in the U.S. (Hey, dude, you can't file a chapter 11 on the U.S. of A to China!), this administration and war has lowered our ranks in world view, and it is SO bad that i worry that Joe Public is going to elect a very left wing presidency for 2008. If that happens then i'm moving out. Nothing will ever get done if this country's leadership keeps wildly swinging back and forth. In fact, stuff will just go backwards, as the current administration will spend most of its time and resources to make sure it stays in power instead of getting things done. And the country will rot because of it.

I rest the blame squarely on the loudmouths on both sides of the fence that are too busy enjoying the sound of their own voices, thinking of ways to blame the other side for whatever the problem du jour is instead of thinking of SOLUTIONS.

Frankly, Cheney has less chance than Bush in 08. Since they both belong to the same failed syndicate, they will both be sitting the next dance out.There is a lot to be said for the 22nd ammendment, but far more to be said for the good sense of the majority. History dictates that whether an unpopular war is started by Republican or Democrat, it is ended only by change of government. Bush has no exit strategy, Cheney is indeed a psycho, perhaps it's time to put moral obligation ahead of party loyaly and do what is right and proper.

George can't run in 08 - he's already done 2 terms. It's impossible to say WHO will run in 08 since politicians fall into and out of public favor very quickly. It doesn't matter to me who gets picked - as far as I'm concerned ALL politicians are psychos with the potential to become murderous warmongers.
