FUel Pressure Gauge

Last spring I wanted to check fuel pressure in relation to problem I had..tried in several stores around and could not find one. Did not want to go to dealer or other. I noticed the Schrader valve on fuel rail looked similar to the A/C valve..and I had for long time a R-12 fill-up kit. Tried the connector and it proved OK.
So I just managed to remove the R-12 refill attachment and replace it with a pressure meter I had from a water supply pump...and realised I had to also remove the one way valve ..the little rubber ball you can see in photo - from the connector so it could work in the opposite direction it was designed for.

A low cost contraption...fully functional.

Re: FUel Pressure Gauge

Great job, I'm thinking of extending the one I have so it can be read while driving. Not in the cab, just cable tied temporarily to the heater fan grill. Just in case the hose has an "accident".
