new years

so what are everybody's plans for new years?

i've got nothing, i was originally supposed to spend some time with a friend of mine from high school at her parents house in montreal (about 3 hours from my house, drinking age is 18 there ). she's hot as HELL, but anyways, she found out she's going to toronto or something for new years, so now i've got nothing. i'm just gonna look for some friends to get trashed with, drink away my loneliness

Re: new years

Um, don't know. I will probably (like a fool) watch the Steelers game, then head to downtown Pittsburgh for either the First Night/Tick Tock Rock celebration or to get drunk. Haven't decided yet.

Re: new years

I'm going to eat dinner with Chris and his parents, and then I don't know what. Maybe go watch fireworks or something. I'd love to be slightly intoxicated, but I doubt it will happen.

Re: new years

Were getting a keg and taking it out to my buddies house in the middle of nowhere. The bad thing is we have to get it today......cant buy booze on sundays. We would just go out, but the closest place that we could go out and drink at on a sunday is Savannah, about 45 minutes away. I know we could make it down there but I dont know if we could get back alive.

Re: new years

sivic02, I like the Savannah comment
That place is faul!

They dont sell alcohol on sundays in Indiana either,
but I heard they were opening the bars till 2:30am

I'm doing the game thing with a few friends at my place, and drinking early

Should be drunk by..... 3pm
Then I might goto some parties.

Enjoy, and drink responsibly dont drink and drive.

Re: new years

Me and the wife both have new years day off so we'll be getting a tad drunk and watching the ball drop. We were going to head up to the cabin in NY with my family but she had to work today and tommorow morning.

Re: new years

+1 for drinking and driving. not only is it stupid but there are cops posted all around the city from what i hear. they had a drive safe (or whatever they call it) thing at 3am on some street where they were just pulling over random people or testing everyone, don't know. anyways, you're about 100x more likely to get caught around this time than any other time of the year, any time of the day.

Re: new years

i'll be having my stomach pumped for alcohol poisoning, then maybe a recovery at some AA meetings... or not, depends on a certain someone being there. either way, gonna enjoy some time off from work with old friends back from college.
