low coolant

I got 2000 Taurus, on a dash board I saw low coolant message flashes
and I open the hood I check the coolant reservoir level is good but still on dash board Sadie " low coolant " so what is the problem?

Sensor maybe bad
Is the coolant at the full level?

Very common problem.

Three ways to deal with it

1. take degasser tank off and flush it with water and shake the hell out of it.
the sensor may unstick.

2. Unplug the sensor and the light will go off.

3. replace the degasser tank which holds the sensor.
the sensor isn't removeable.
