It's a newbie, hope you like what I have done and what's in store!

Hey everyone, wanted to introduce myself and show off what I have done, and what I have in store. My name is Eddie and I live in Austin Texas. I have recently picked up modelling again and stumbled upon this forum and have spent about the last 3 weeks looking through it getting ideas and tips. Here is what I have done so far, any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

First, I started out with the Revell Civic HB kit. Not completely please how it turned out, but, I don't think it was too bad for my first one since I was a wee little tyke. Then, I moved on to the F350 dually. I attempted a flamed paint job, soo could've come out better. Then I went on the the Supra. Found some accessories to go with it and I was impressed with how it turned out. Please comment and let me know how I did.

I just picked up a TransAm kit for a quick build and to practice some of the painting techniques I found in the FAQ's

Now, for the big project for me. I found a Toyota Platz (Echo) kit for which I want to try and replicate my 1:1 scale Echo. Any tips or pointers on how I can create the body kit would be great. Oh, did I mention that this is the first time that I have ever even thought of creating my own kits? So, if you can, keep that in mind when giving me pointers!!!

They look great! Just keep praticing! Ah,and if you are going to paint the lights (like the ones from you F350), it looks good if you paint the backs! It will look better! And your supra looks very good!
About making kits on your Echo,Use plastic cards (styrene) and Epoxy or Polyester Putty. If you look in the tutorial section, there is some tutorials explaing how to do everything! Good luck on them!

That Echo's gonna look wicked, and welcome to AF!

I especially like the F350, I think the flame job turned out great. Only thing I see to improve on is a bit too much glue around the windshield. Other than that, looks damn good.

Looking forward to seeing a WIP on that Echo! opcorn:
