Noisy engine

I have 2006 Sedona EX. It is making noise similar to a lifter tapping. Has any one had this problem?

Try using a top of the line gasoline in addition to a good gasline treatment product such as Lucas or STP. See what happens.

Is this a 3.8L engine? if so there is a tsb on the timing chain tensioner.
If it's under warr. check with your dealer.

I had total of3 Sedonas (06, two 07 ones too) and all make that noise on initial start up overnight for about 1.5 seconds. It is HYDRALIC chain tensioner. I already asked this Q here, got a reply with documentation from Kia confirming that...
