Oil Pressure

What should the oil pressure be at idle for a 99 Ram 5.2? i seem to be just below 40 not sure if this is low.

that sounds about right. really oil pressure depends on what brand and type you use soemtimes. I been told as long as its over 10 thigns are fine but normally mine runs around 40 as you said yours does.

Should be plenty. As long as it stays there at idle and doesn't drop too low you should be fine.
