Temp backlight just went out

Question: The backlight that illuminates the dual zone sliding temperature bar (on the right hand side) just burnt out. This this light relatively easy to remove and replace, or do you recommend my dealer replace it?

I'm not positive, but I think the lamp is soldered in place which makes it not the easiest thing to replace. Some owners over on another GMT360 board have replaced the whole HVAC control unit with used ones purchased on eBay. As long as you get another manual control unit it is plug and play. The digital ones are different.
