Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Hi i have a 1990 honda civic cx 1.5l now i was wondering if you can read Diagnostic Trouble Codes on this car and how can you do it cause i had a gm and i know on the older gms you can jump one wire to another and the check eng light flashes and this is the first time i owned a handa and i wonder how do you do it and if you can do it if someone can let me know thanks.

hmmmm

well on mine i take the top plate off the ecu and count the blinking lights.

Thanks but where is the ecu like i said this is the first time i ever owned a honda and is there a webpage or something where i can find out what the blinks mean? thanks agin

yea its in the passenger floor board area, right where your feet rest. pull the carpet back and there should already be a spot where you can see the LED on the ECU without having to remove the cover....i think, kind of tired right now, but I'm thinking there is a spot in the cover for it.

Check the noob FAQ thread for what the codes mean.
