Interior Lights

I just bought a 2001 Venture. The interior lights don't come on when the doors are opened. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Forum!

The first thing I would do is check the "Override" switch in the overhead console. I believe it is the one on the far left side (nearest the driver side). You can see a picture of it here.

If that doesn't work, I would try the fuses next.

Take Care,

Re: Interior Lights

When you toggle the interior lights switch override on the overhead center console, does it lock down and stay put when you switch it, or does it pop back to where it was?

I took mine apart, and found out the hard way the switches inside use 2 different pieces. If that piece is broke inside, your lights will not come on at all inside.
