Re: online services??

Pffffft. You might as well stop looking. All the ones I've seen, give you like a dollar for some long ass boring surveys, in which then you don't really get money, more like credit for b/s online stores you didn't want to shop at in the first place.

Re: online services??

Flea-bay is another option. Pan-handling is also a good source. Not to long ago on NBC's Dateline they ran a repeat segment where a successfull business man pan-handled money for a couple hours before going to work in a busy area, then went to a store changed clothes in bathroom and got in his fully equipped Jeep Grand Cherokee and went to work. He was broke because his child had cancer or something that insurance didn't cover and that's how he funded the medical bills and got the family back on their feet and then continued doing.

Re: online services??

Might I suggest getting a real job?

Or is that frowned upon these days?

I dunno, call me old fashioned.

Re: online services??

Might I suggest www.mysurvey.com ? I joined a couple years back. They have you fill out a short survey about your family (members, ages, etc.)likes, dislikes, then that info is entered into their database. Many companies use mysurvey to get info about how their products are preceived by the public, and other ideas for new products. I recently filled out surveys about plans for any new vehicles in the household within the next year, which stores I shop at, what type of electronic items I own to name a few. You even get new products sent to you to try and evaluate before they are put on the market. I just finished a body wash survey, did one in the past year for cat litter, breakfast cereal, and snack chips . You get points for each survey you complete, and within the last 14 to 16 months or so I've made $120. Not bad for a little bit of time for my opinion. No you can't make a living off of it but I don't know of any out there that you can. On average I get 3 to 4 surveys a week, depends on whether my info meets the surveys criteria.

No. They send you an actual check to cash and do whatever you want with it.

No. I actually made a lot more over that time, but I "spent" some of the money on raffles they have for items such as $5000 cash, plasma tvs, or other high priced items. They have new raffles every month with different prizes, and you "buy" tickets with your accumulated points.
I also "spent" some of the money in the form of donations. Once in awhile they have a chance for members to donate some of their points which are converted to cash into donations. Their biggest one was for Hurricane Katrina relief.
Each survey is assigned "points". The longer surveys are worth more points. You take your points and convert them to cash. Like I said for what it's worth, I took the surveys while I was online doing other things and had some spare time. It's some extra money I didn't count on that I didn't have in the first place.
