I need to replace two rear speakers and I can't remove the plastic shroud to access the speakers. After looking from the trunk, I think the secret mus be to remove the shroud. any help that can be provided to help me replace the speaker is appreciated.

Re: Rear Speaker Replacement - '97 Grand Prix

You need to remove the rear seat, pull up and out on the bottom seat. Then remove the bolts holding the seat back to the car, they are located at the bottom of the seat back. Remove seat back. Carefully pull out the entire rear deck cover. You can now access the speakers.

Thanks for your advice. I followed your instructions exactly and it worked out great. By the way the speakers sound really good too.

Thanks again
