onstar system

I have an onstar system in m y 2002 oldsmobile bravada, but am not currently subscribed to onstar, I think it is causing electrical problems.How can I deactivate this system because the dealer I bought it from still has remote access to the starter

There should be a fuse for the OnStar system. Pull it. Check for the location in your owner's manual.

Yep, just pull the fuse. It only powers the Onstar. That's one of the things theives do when they steal Gm vehicles.
