I searched around the fourms for a bit to try to find how to do this.

anyone know how to keep the low beams on when you turn on the high beams on a 95 jimmy?

There is a kit on ebay you can buy. It cost about $20. All it is, is a relay with detailed instructions you connect to your headlight wires. Takes about 10 minutes to install and works great. I bought one for my 04 blazer but will also work on a 95 jimmy.

To make the low-beam lights lite up while the hi-beams are on, Simply ground the yellow wire in the harness (not the one with the Blackstripe on it) on the Driver Side Headlight Only and then turn the high beams on, your low beams will stay on at the same time.

thank's dino, too bad i had alredy ordered a kit from ebay, it should be here in the next week or so...ill try your idea first and if it works ill just turn around and resell the kit.

i actually just got a chance to mess witht the headlights, and in the driverside wire harness there is no yellow with or without a black stripe, there is a blue, green, orange, and 2 black.

How does this work? Want to make sure I don't put too much draw on those little wires...

Edit: Found the wiring scematic at autozone.com. Thebeastjuggalo, this only applies to 98+ which use a ground switch to control the beam selection. Your truck uses a positive switch, so you'd probably need a relay and a suitable +12V source, unless the wiring can support bridging the low beams at the selector switch.

Works like a charm now that I've cleaned up the ground contact. Thanks Dino55!! Those country roads don't stand a chance! I wonder if I could get the fog lights to come on too....

So there is one downside... since my highs are my daytime running lights, my low's come on full with them. So I'll want to grab a relay and fix it up so the DRL are stock. See http://www.fmtc.com/~brule/quad.html
