Tps
I saw once a method of checking the tps with a volt meter, by sticking a paperclip in where the green wire enters the connector, I have tried sticking many different metal objects in the connector, and grounding every possible place, but can not get a reading. Is there any other way to do this. I want to replace the tps, but if I can't get a voltage reading to adjust the new one, it won't function properly, or will it? thanks for any help.

Re: Tps
I had trouble with the tps sensor on my 86 T-Bird. The engine kept reving up in gear when I came to stop. I just replaced it and made no adjustments, that corrected the problem.

Re: Tps
If you watch the bare spots where the old one came off and put the new on in exactly the same place you should be fine.
