Leaking moonroof
I have a 97 EB Expy and the roof is leaking into my headliner and down the A pillar. I searched and it sounds as if maybe there are some drain holes in the moonroof that are plugged. Any tips on how to fix this and is it a big project?
TIA....................Jon

Re: Leaking moonroof
there is 2 or 4 drain holes with tubes that like to plug depending on the roof....the front tubes normaly plug first - just lower the front corners of the headliner (remove pillar trim, visor and door weatherstrip and pull down being carefull not to drease the headliner) pull black hoses off roof track and clean with compressed air untill they flow free.

Re: Leaking moonroof
Thanks rivguy,
I did just that and it seems to be OK. Another possibility is that I opened the sunroof partway when it was raining and it filled with water. At any rate it seems to be good now. There also is no evidence of a previous leak(water spots or stains) so it may have just been a fluke...JR |

Re: Leaking moonroof
a good way if it happens again to test it is pour about 1-2 cups of water in the front corner of the track with the roof open and when it goes down the drain there should be a strong suction sound as the water is almost gone. if not the drians are starting to plug.
