76 cj5 help
I have a 76 cj5 and the altenator went out. The people before me upgraded the altenator. Now when I got the new one (like a dumbass) I didnt notice the fan blades were too large and when I installed it the blades hit the brackets. Does any one know what the proper upgraded altenator is on a 76 inline 6 cj5. thanks for the help.

I don't know offhand, but you should be able to obtain one from the auto parts store with an increase amperege rating.
Alternately, you could change the pulley from the old one and install it on the new one.
