Re: rim size ???

if you are looking to handle better dont get another set of oem wheels. what you want is a wider wheel that allows more tire contact with the road.

15x7.
Don't go with a 16. If you want STRICTLY performance go with a 15x7 or 15x7.5 inch lightweight wheel. Rota makes some of the lightest wheels on the market and they're a good wheel for the money.

Check out machiii.net for the cheapest prices.

Re: rim size ???

dude in my opinion the rim doesnt make uh difference..i had 00 si rims and mr5's and authentic spoons 15x7.5 and ran falken azenis and kumho asx's on them..i was always about handling and i was quite impressed with either of these rim/tire setups..i think 15's look quite perfect on 4th gens

Re: rim size ???

Really rim size has no true effect on performance, it translates into performance through the effect it has on tranny gearing and sprung weight. Whatever the weight of the wheel/tire is, same as adding four times that weight to your car. Most all honda trannys are gear pretty high for good gas mileage and adding a taller wheel/tire combination just adds to that making it seem even taller, which translates into slower take off and longer gears.
