Wire under dash disconnected, can you identify? '98 .626

i had to snap the obd connector back into place, and while i was down there i noticed this little white wire is not connected to anything. does anyone know what this is and if it needs to be hooked up? i looked and felt around as much as i could and couldn't find anything to connect it to.

There are dead ended connectors like this in most cars for options that the car does not have, when they build a harness it's a one size fits all and they just tape the wire close to the connector like yours is.
