2-tone question

After laying down my base coat, how long should I let the piant cure before putting down my second colour. I am using tamiya TS paints....thanks for the help in advance

4 days to a week, I would err on the conservative side though and wait a week.

How safe do you want to be? Personally, I would give it at least a week. Maybe a day or two is enough, but a month is safer. I would also minimise the amount of time the masking tape is on the base color- no more than an hour or two if you can manage.

Okay thanks guys, I was hoping for quicker. I wll let it cure for about a week. By the way its for my new build....a 70 roadrunner....inspired by the magic of Chip Foose. i think you all will like it!!!

I will start a wip thread as soon as I get a little more done. I have the base coat of Tamiya light gunmetal down. Its looking good so far. maybe have some pics up in a while!!!!!
