96 dodge caravan 3.0 w/distributor
Does this vehicle have a crankshaft positioning sensor? if so, where is it located?
I appreciate any advice anyone has. Thank you

thanks. should i be able to get that information from autozone.com myself. when i tried i got a blank screen. when i looked for other sensors it gave me a written description no diagrams.

Yes. When you get to your vehicle the crank sensor is listed under "driveability and emissions" then "electronic engine controls". The sensor is located on the transmission.
