erebuni bodykit for 626
Has ANYONE out there put this kit on their car?
Erebuni part #345, check it out at... http://www.erebunicorp.com/ge/maz62688.htm It's the only kit I've seen for ANY model year 626 and I'm looking for some descent pictures of the kit installed to get an idea of what my $700 is going to get me. The pictures on the Erebuni site suck, they were no help in tracking some down, had no clue on what kits for what cars might be adaptable to the 626, if any, and the pictures at nopionline.com of the Erebuni #345 kit are even worse than the ones on Erebuni's site (same pics, but MUCH worse quality). Also, there seems to be some crossover between the 626 and MX-6's and Probes in the same model years... does this crossover apply at all to body kits? Some info on the car: 1990 Mazda 626 DX, 166,500 miles, blue w/blue interior; paint is ate up (OK since there is no rust and only one dent in the hood; the car can be painted and will be if I decide to salvage it); the interior is OK, a little faded but in great shape overall compared to lots of cars I have looked at. I got the car for $500 about 20 months ago, drove it for about 9 months and then it sat for about 10 months waiting on a valve job until I FINALLY got into a house with a shop out back (24x40 feet, one overhead door). As soon as I get my '93 Caravan running (tomorrow!?!), SOMETHING will be done with the 626... either it goes away or I start working on it and if I keep it, I want to trick it out some and make it into a nice ride that I can use for a daily driver; nothing TOO fancy, but a body kit, a wing, some wheels (Factory steel right now, no wheel covers, even! Acckkk!) maybe a turbo conversion and a lowering kit (OK, ok, maybe a LITTLE fancy, but NOT a show car by any stretch). I found this board a few days ago just as I was getting ready to give up on it due to lack of parts and info, then out of the blue, INFORMATION! Anyway, I'll entertain suggestions and ideas and see what turns up. If anyone REALLY wants to see pictures, I'll try to get some up here, but be warned the car is UGLY right now, bad paint, bone stock and in need of some work.
