97-900 Headlight clips

I have to replace a headlight bulb on a 1997 900. I've removed the round black cover and can disconnect the plug. Looks like a wire clip that must be pinched or rotated or pulled, but I have no idea which. Is there a special tool for this? I've broken headlight assemblies on several cars by not knowing the trick. I'd appreciate it if someone could clue me in on how this should be done.

if it is anything like my viggen....all you have to do is squeeze the wire and rotate to the right...then it will come free...then to put back i just push the wire up and it snaps back in...good luck to you as you will see the job sounds quite simple and is...but sometimes those darn things are stubborn.
