Just a rubbish 500SEC W126 with open door and trunk...

Everyday cars you doesn't see model often. This is Tamiya MB 500SEC W126 normal version (24029). Overall it's look good but lack of some details. At this time, There is no high details 500SEC Diecast model available so I decide to cut off the doors ,fuel door and trunk because I don't like the curbside. The doors can be open and close like many diecast. I will paint with Tamiya TS British green , combination with beige interior and black wheels with chrome ring.






Interior converted to RHD because Thailand use RHD cars. I need to replicate car that used in thailand with RHD and Thai license plate.

Looking good so far! Would really like to see some more detailed pics if you get the chance to tkae some.

Almost certainly too late given the progress you've already made, but Revell did a 560SEC in their Premium series. It has an opening bonnet & boot, as well as a very high parts count & also loads of decals, especially for the underbonnet / engine bay & it even included the hazard triangle on the underside of the bootlid. I believe that it may also have been sold as a Fujimi Enthusiast kit
