Unhappy 89 Caprice rear axle problem

89 chevy caprice 5.7L , 650 cfm holley carb, weiand high rise intake, TH2004R tranny. the passenger tire spins when in gear, the driver side tire is frozen. it wont budge either way. please help. wat can cause this problem and any solutions would be welcomed....

Have you checked the condition of the brakes? There also could be internal damage in the differential.
