5 channel amp question
hi i was looking at KICKER ZX700.5 amp for my speakers. now here is my question: 1 channel of it is for a sub now if i wired it so that only that channel saw a 2 ohm load and the other 4 channels see a 4 ohm load will the sub channel still put out the amount it is rated at in 2 ohm more 4 ohm?

each channel is a different device ..... it will put out the rated power for whatever you have it loaded to. For example, if you had the front right loaded to 2 ohms, it will put out the power it is rated for at 2 ohms .... if you had front left loaded to 4 ohms, it will put out it's 4 ohm power rating.
