1994 dodge ram 1500 318 v8 , shaking like a sh##ing dog at 45-55 mph

THE TRUCK SHAKES LIKE HELL AT 45-55 MPH . its not a uj or anything , has a missfire under load and its now got worse . swapped the dissy cap , rotor , plugs and leads , coil . and its still the same , the check engine light doesnt come on and there isnt any fault codes . getting abit fed up with the truck now and wish i had never even seen it . the missfire was only on one cylinder to start with and i could live with that but it did irritate abit but it now has a missfire on about half the cylinders . it does also pop back through the inlet manifold now too .

none of the plugs are getting sutted up and are all as they should be .

very good oil pressure , even when hot .

doesnt overheat or pressurise .

fuel pressure is good and my fuel filter has been swapped . fuel comes out clean , as it should .

i was thinking could it be the injectors , all have correct voltage running to them all .
or worn lobes on the cam with badly worn lifters not opening the exhaust valves ( with the popping back through the inlet ), common on rover v8's and ford cvh engines . or the head gasket gone between the cylinders . i will compression test tomorrow but that will only give me a answer to if the headgasket has blown or not between the cylinders.

the truck has no power at all and wouldnt pull you out of bed , my old dodge d200 flat bed with a six banger in it would eat it for breakfast.

has anyone else had this problem .

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard if your spark plug wires are routed differently than they were when it came from the factory it can cause all kinds of problems. May be worth looking into and would be a cheap, easy fix. There's a service manuel posted here for a 95 dodge, I think it says in there how to route the wires if I remember right. I know you have a 94 but it should be the same for your truck. Good luck.
