hells yeah it can be done. Check out a junkyard and see if they have any tranny's there (make sure you get the right one for either the 4g64 or the 6g72). Not sure what it would cost, but my bet is a junkyard would be the best price. Also, check ebay, they sometimes have these things on there. Good luck, and if you decide to go through with it I'm sure someone on here or on Club3g.com will have answers to more complex questions.
