Need Help! 02 R/t

HELP!!!

Ok so I have a 2002 Chrysler Neon R/T. I moved away for school and put it in storage. I take it out whenever I'm home to visit. Its been in storage for almost 3 months now, I took it out a couple and it runs beautifully but once in a while, and i mean very rarely, the car bogs out, almost quits, while im driving and its stalled a couple times at interesections like its not getting any gas or something.... and the check engine light comes on, then ill turn it over a couple times give it some gas and after like 10 seconds it goes back to driving like normal, and after a while driving around the check engine light goes out.

I had a mechanic suggest it could be condensation buildup in the fuel system as i didnt store it with a full tank, about two thirds roughly i think.

Any other suggestions or ideas?????

What engine codes are there? Start there first.

Re: Need Help! 02 R/t

Start cheap and buy a couple of bottles of Heet or water out, or dry gas (basically isopropyl alcohol and available at any parts store)) and put the stuff in the tank, if it is condensation the alcohol will homogenize the water and allow it to pass. If you are going to store a car for any period with fuel in the tank, I suggest you put some STABIL in the gas tank when you store the car and dry gas when you return.

Start cheaper and find out what the codes are. Some major chain autoparts stores will read the codes for free.
