XS Engineering BNR32 GT-R Time Attack Video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhpvSasZUjw
What up guys? I'm new here, but I thought you guys might like to watch this video. Anyhow, this video is with Tarzan Yamada driving the 1:49:21 lap at the Super Street time attack at Buttonwillow, CA in November 2006. We were really hoping to smoke the CyberEVO's lap time record, but oh well....next time. This was the unfortunate low boost lap where our boost controller defaulted to LOW for some reason. It's a shame that Tarzan didn't get a chance to run it again at high boost. By watching the video you can see that Tarzan was still getting used to the track with this particular car. The car's only been on the track 3 times so far so there's a lot of development left to go. KW suspension is currently using my personal BNR32 GTR to develop some 3 way adjustable motorsport dampers for the XS car and Mike Kojima and I have some new swaybar designs in mind. I can report that we are happy that compression of all 6 cylinders is exactly the same and 3 cylinders have only 1% leak down and the other 3 have only 2% leak down.

Re: XS Engineering BNR32 GT-R Time Attack Video
Thanks man. In your sig, is that the combination of parts between your GT-R and your stang? Or are you really running a 351W in the GT-R? That would be sweet. I'm thinking of an engine swap into the car perhaps.

Re: XS Engineering BNR32 GT-R Time Attack Video
Eric,
Yep, the work has started on that GTR, but when your a lone wolf, it takes a little bit longer to complete. I have flared the rears so I can stuff some 345 in the back, and went with a 28" tire to knock the gearing down a bit, until I can find a 3.50 Nodular 9". If you want to have a quick look at what I have done, go to gtrforums.com and look at the tech section. I have not posted anything new in months, because of family and work ![]() Tony
