??? about my stock muffler

I dont have mutch money right now and i was thinking of guting the in sides of the stock muffler to get a little more power and make it sound deaper what should i do?

while your at it.... cook up a pot of Uncle Ben's rice.... no seriously... its more of a pain than its worth... just save up for a real exhaust
