I was wondering what the reasonable price of a 1990 Civic Si HB in good condition without an engine should be?

Also what would the approximate cost of a B16A1 install cost me with mounts, tranny, ECU, shift linkage, etc.. And an estimate on labor costs as well for the install.

I think with the blown engine included, he said it would be about $2000 cdn. Is that decent or no?

i think 2K is really steep considdering it has no engine at all.

thats only like $1300 us hmm does it come with the blown motor. If it does Id give him $1800cnd. Get a new motor and then rebuild the old with a turbo...but thats me

I wouldnt pay that much. I bought a 91 Prelude SR in near mint condition that ran and had no major problems for 1600. you should pay less than a grand in my opinion.

thats right your talking canadian dollars. I paid 1600$US and i bought it off of someone who moved into the US from canada. but if you translate currency thats only about 300(US) more than hes asking for the civic and it has a blown motor.

i bought my civic for $600usd with a broken timing belt, and a dented hood and fender. everything else is cherry

I paid 1100 us for mine with running motor but it smokes a bit. and it was set up pretty nice.

if u r willing to drive to calgary u can get a swap with everything for about 4000
