Look what i got for free!!!!

well almost free. All i had to do is put a evo 3 engine in a talon and this kid said he had a motor he would give me. So i said let me see it first, as soon as i saw it i said ok lets do it. The engine has less than 500 miles on it

Thats right less than 500 miles.

What happen was the kid baught a brand new rebuilt engine and the belt slipped and bent 4 valves. I only see 4 valves that are bent but i will know more when i take the head off. Have no clue what i will do with it since my engine is fully built now

Look how clean the inside of the head is, oil did not even get the head dirty

look how clean the outside of this engine is, remember less than 500 miles

When i was laying in bed last night i was thinking of building a 2.3 stroker out of it but thats just an idea, im not sure if i will keep it and do a 2.3 or just part it out.

Thats funny man, I thought I was the only one who thought about what they will do with their car (or engine) next while laying in bed.

Maybe its a DSM thang'.

It's got to be. I'm constantly laying in bed, trying to fall asleep, only to keep laying there awake because I'm thinking about what turbo upgrade I wanna do, or what FMIC to get, or whether I should do some research on cams and some adjustable cam sprockets. It goes on and on man. Never ending.

I'll hook you up a New 100mm 6bolt stroker crankshaft. Just keep me in the loop if you go that way.

the belt must have skipped more than one tooth to bend some valves.

My engine blew 2 days ago. If you decide to sell it I am a interested. Seriously I am looking for an engine since my has a bended rod, broken cylinder and some bended valves. I found one on DSmtuners, guy said its still for sale and 4 days in a row he wont anwer PMs. I really need an engine since my parents are screeming at my head for buying a Mitsubishi and not a Toyota or some crap like that.

Any one here on the forums with a engine for sale.. I WANT IT.

IF you post on our local boards. SD Local Scene someone there will probably have a motor and for cheap. We have a few DSM shops in the area and one of them might have a motor they can sell you for cheap and arrange some shipping deal out.

How much do you want for that crank Scott? I called to see pricing on a new one at the Hyundai dealer and they want wayyy too much.

Talon69, so you put an Evo3 motor in a 420a bay? What kinda work did it take?

Let me get the head off and see if thats all is wrong, i will let you know if i decide to get rid of it
