How come.. ?

How come we over here don't celebrate Christmas on the 25th, but the 24th?

And is there any more countries who does that?

I've never really gotten that explained to me.

Werd? I didn't know that. But I guess it doesn't matter since the date has no significance or accuracy whatsoever

Re: How come.. ?

I've lived in three countries and they all celebrate Christmas on the 25th - have heard of countries where Christmas isn't recognised as a holiday for religous reasons, but none that celebrate it a different day.

Re: How come.. ?

So in reality, they're not actually celebrating Christmas on the 24th, they're just opening gifts on the 24th.....whatever.

I got 2 Christmases... but that's because I got Orthodox Christmas in January. Then my mom's family figured out that I didn't really follow their religion, so they cut that out.
