Tires!!!!
Hey all,
What are the biggest tires I can put on my 93 Suburban 4X4? I was told that I could shove a 285 75 16 in there, seems big to me but if it does work I will do it... I would like to use my stock rims too... 285 75 16, that's gotta be close to a 12.50 33 on a 15" rim right? Maybe a little narrower? |

Re: Tires!!!!
i've had people come to my job and get then put on pickups and suburban. shouldnt be no major problem,u will lose a little turn radius cuz tire will tap the framerail if turned to the hilt. other option is to use a 265/75/16

Re: Tires!!!!
What do you guys think about this?
I looking at putting some tires and rims on my 91 4x4 Suburban from a 04 Avalanche. Everything seems to match up, although I haven't put them on yet. The only thing I'm not certain of is the offset. It shows my Suburban having zero offset, while the 04' has an offset of +22mm. Do you think this will affect the handling or the way it rides? Also are there spacers for positive offsets? I should also mention that I'm going from 16" to 17" rims. Let me know what you guys think. Much appreciated. |
