Cruise control, making car stall, i need help.

hello , i have a 93 eagle vision, my problem is ill be driving down the road , then the cruise light kicks on and the rpm gauge will go all the way down between 1 and 0 and then the engine dies , its like the cruise just wants to randomly kick on and then it dies, i tried taking out the cruise control fuse, did that , but it still does it , any thoughts?
