No voltage/current to ignition
Hi
I have this VW Golf IV that does not get any voltage/current to the ignition pins, glowingpips, or what it's called (I'm not english, and don't know excatly, but hope you understand me). I was hoping you could help me in finding what might be the problem, or perehaps give me a diagram, so I could look for the error myself. Hope to hear from someone ![]() PS: It's a Golf IV 1,9 TDi from 1998, almost forgot Last edited by staapaavandski; 12-21-2006 at 03:34 AM. |

Re: No voltage/current to ignition
In the usa there called "glow plugs". There are 2 relays for it (one under the windshield wiper cowl area for a 4 -wire harness at the glow plugs) and then on the relay pannel above your feet the relay "52" is for glow plug and I believe "98" is also the glow plug/heater circuit relay. Also check fuses for glow plug circuit
