89 civic wagon hood weight

Anyone know the estimated weight of an 89 civic wagon stock hood? I'm trying to calculate shipping and was curious if anyone knew...I was thinking around 15lbs, but I'm not too sure.

Probably closer to 25...but you're going to pay for the oversized package pricing anyway. Stock hoods usually go for about $50 anyway locally so why pay for one with $75+ shipping?

Hey thanks bambam...I'm actually selling my hood off my wagon and was wanting to give the person an accurate shipping quote...I've never shipped anything like this before. So is there something I should know going into the deal so I don't make the person pay more money than they need to on shipping?

Bam whens the lastime u lifted a 25pd weight? i guess the wagons have a shorter hood.. but i know my hood on my civic was heavy lol sucked but i guess around 35

yeah its about 35-40, it seems lighter because of the size.

lol....well benching 265 does throw off your weight estimation skills then. . Sorry...just hit my new max today. I dunno...I just pictured it being about the weight of a 25 lb. bag of dog food or kitty litter or something. But, I do know that it doesn't weight 15 lbs.

265 is beasty..by seeing ur past pics id say ur about 5'8 180..could be wrong but if my estimate is right.. that isnt bad if ur taking the natural route.. lots of protein..red meat,shakes..fruits and vegetables..i need to get my ass back in the gym lol im really putting on the weight man..6'1 300pds and drug free< lol time to tryout for the eagles front line!!

Close on the weight. I was 196 in june but i'm down to 169 now, while increasing my chest by 2 inches and biceps by 3/4 of an inch. So, i've probably lost more than 30 lbs. of fat since muscles weighs twice as much as fat. I was at about 19% body fat but I'm down to about 12% now. I'm on the higher side of 5'9, closer to 5'10. Natural is the way to go. I'm in the military anyway, I couldn't take anything even if i wanted too. We're not even allowed to take alot of things that are legal! High protein, high fiber, low simple carb, low unnatural sugar diet is the way to go.

As for the hood, usps definitely won't ship things like that. They are more of a mail/small package shipper. You have to go to one of the shipping companies like STD stated.
