HELP!!CAr dosen't start, Raw fuel smell, Puff out of cyl 4!!WTF&^%
Okay guys looking for a little help here. Im seriously tring to not pull up the manifold if I don't have to.. Since last left, I replaced the pugs and fixed the timing belt. If I floor the car, I can get the car to run but very poor. I happened to glance under the car as I ran t very rich for a couple,, The cats where chery. I saw rhis on a post before so I will look it over and see if this is what im dealing with.. ALso.. The car gets this weird puff from cyl 4 when I crank it.. Bot o2 sensor read rich(DUH). They are still functional.. I did do some more testing and my tps, cam, crank, map are all good. The only weird reading was on the ECT.. It was out of range but I have 5 volts.. Whould a ect cause all this?? If there are any full time Chysler techs here, Help would be appriciated..

Puff from cylinder 4?
Is the puff coming from around the spark plug or from the seam between head and block? Check engine oil, is it contaminated with coolant? |

Nah its coming out of the plug. Anyway I think that im in business. I Looked deeper in the problem and I checked the ressistance in the coil. Cyl 1,4 are in spec at .66 ohms(Spec is .45-.69)I check the terminals for cly 2,5 and 3,6.They are at 1.66 ohms. I think that Im going to throw a coil in and see what happens. Those four cylinders are the cylinders that have the most gas on the plugs when I removed them.. Hopefully thats it. I have so muchj work into this car it not even funny. New Heads, belts timing belt tensioner, water pump, plugs, cam crank, sensor... The list goes on. Anyway, I will let you guys know how I came out..
