Cig. Lighter Not Working

The front cig. lighter in my '00 GT isnt working. As far as I can tell it's either a fuse or wiring issue. I'm 99% sure its a fuse, but the fuse boxes don't have a list of what's what on it and when I got the car used it didn't have an owners manual. Can anyone help?

Re: Cig. Lighter Not Working

If its a fuse there should be other things not working as well. I very seriously doubt that Ford put a fuse in just for the cigarette lighter alone. But if you dont know what fuse it may be just start pulling fuses until you find one thats blown. It should be a fuse in the fuse box located in the dash. If you cant find a blown fuse there are only two wires going to the cigarette lighter. Hope this helps some. Good luck.
