oil leak!!

Im not to sure on where I should put this thread. its either Problem Diagnosis or Performance. sorry if I picked the wrong forum.

anyways, I got the 2g install kit from turbochargers.com when I did my turbo upgrade. the problem is that the turbo oil return is leaking. it made of rubber and mesh like the 2g stock intake tube. the stock oil return is too long. I tried to bend the flexible part but it was still too long. how do i fix it? thanks

Re: oil leak!!

Are you able to trim it up any?

Oh and for the record, this should be in Problem Diagnosis. I'll move it for you.

Re: oil leak!!

thanks for moving it me teh correct forum. anyways, I did trim the return hose from the install kit because that was to long. it started to kink when i bolted it up. now it fits perfect. I guess this weekend I am going to have to looks under the car to see if all the bolt are tight.

Re: oil leak!!

If not, then you may want to use some rtv and make yourself a new gasket for it...
