can it get any worse
As many of you guys know, over a year ago a prick tried to rape my baby girl. Well all this time has gone by, and not much has been done about this. Last month I talked to my lawyer and he told me that they offered this prick a plea bargin ( something like this ) 3 years probation, mandatory counceling, and has to regasture as a sex offender. this boy is a juvie. I thaught this was a good deal, he gets in trouble, and has to do counceling to find the underlaying problem behind his behavior, and gets tha help he needs. Well his parrents denied the plea bargin, and wants to take it all tha way to tha jury....I really wanted to avoid this cuz my daughter is so young only 7 and this happened so long ago. I am affraid to bring this mess back up to her. Tha date is set for sometime in January. Not only this mess they are talkin that they are gonna sue me and my neighbors for slander ect. Now my neighbors wont let there boys testify, they walked in on what happened and stopped it before it went too far.....I need them, they are witnesses. Without them I am affraid he will get off scott free......I am a wreck right now....Just had to vent.....

Dizamn. I agree with Oz. There's gotta be something you can do. I hope the bastard gets what he deserves which is a LOT worse than probation.

I agree. Sex offenders are lower on the food chain of life than lawyers, and they are pretty low. As for the kids whose parents won't testify, all the prosecutor has to do is subpoena them, they can be forced to testify as to what they saw and what they did to prevent it from going any further. As for being sued for slander, let them try. It's awfully hard to prove when you have witnesses to what the kids did, and after the criminal side goes in your favor they can't do anything anyway.

If he gets convicted as a registered sex offender his life is over I promise you that. That means there is no hope ever of getting a good job anywhere! He will always be harassed by someone in the neighborhood or atleast confronted about it occasionally. He'll get whats coming to him. I agree with Oz.

That would be the nastiest thing to do. Turn the tables an have there own child who there fighting for removed from there custody. That will only be possible if you can prove he commited the act though.

I agree that something has happened to him, for him to act this way. He is just a little kid. Reason I am pushing for mandatory counceling on his part. To find out tha underlaying problem. And my lawyer told me that the boys ( neighbors ) will be defentilty there, no questions asked. So I am shure he has done that. My anxiety is through tha roof on this mess. I warry about my daughter getting up on that stand....I just want this mess over and done with.....
