Front Driveshaft
ok, in trying to solve a vibe problem, im looking into my front driveshaft. My
question is, while lying under the car and pushing up and down on the shaft....should there be any play in the slip yoke( i think its the slip yoke?) where the grease fitting is?

pull the driveshaft off and drive. Thats a sure fire way of finding out if its a driveshaft related vibe. You dont even need to pull the whole driveshaft off, just unbolt it at the axle and tie it up out of the way. Dont put it in 4X4 if you choose to just tie it up. |
