help?

Hi,

I was wondering a couple of things about wheels.. I have a 1991 honda accord ex-r 4x114.3 lug pattern, and I have a set of 18" Epic wheels that are 5 x 115, I've heard I can have them filled and re-drilled.. is this true? If so, where would I go to do that, or to find a price on it?

Another option I'm looking at are hub adaptors, do they make one for a 4x114.3 to 5x115 conversion? I've googled it and haven't found anything..

Any help is greatly appreciated..

Thanks,

-Mak

Re: help?

I wasn't ging to reply, because I don't have direct knowledge......but since no one else has, I'll tell you what I've heard on other forums.

Generally redrilling is either fairly expensive or the quality is poor. Adaptors add quite a bit of complication, plus they change the offset.

So the concensus seems to be - if the bolt circle and offset isn't right - move on!

Re: help?

I bet you can sell them on ebay and get some other rims that are exact fit as far as lugs and offset for your honda.
Personally, 16's would look nicer for that car, more meat on the tires, better tread wear, less noisy, better ride, and of course the the tire AND rms would be cheaper. Upto you!
Good luck w/ that.
