W.I.P. Ink Freehand With Ref

Im not gonna sketch or draft it out first. Just gonna wing it. No erasing lol. Ill try to post steps. But ya know when ur in a groove how hard it is to stop. Very early stage right now. But maybe a noob can see a rather different style.
This is for my little sister. My ref pic is the same year as her car but dif color. Im prolly gonna color it Green same as hers too.

Interesting idea, should be fun to follow along with your progress.

Looks like you're off to a good start!

Re: W.I.P. Ink Freehand With Ref

I saved at 1 other point. And then I just got totally into it. Drew and colored right into the morning. Man it was lookin real good. ten I decided to lighten it up with some white paint. I f'ed it up real bad. tore it and crumpled it. M b/f uncrumpled it and taped it back to gether. So i guess ill post it. I said i'd take ya from start to finish. I know its a mess.

Wow, not seeing where you think you "lost it."
Line work is great.

Looks great! The wrinkles add a blend of modern art to the fine art piece.

May I suggest a broken frame/matte to complete the theme.

I really like your colored artwork. B

To be completely honest, it looks like it just needed more time. I dont see anything wrong with it.

Don't let your perfectionism get to you.. You do excellent work, but you dont allow yourself to finish because you seem to be to hard on yourself..

From the looks of it. THERE was or is nothing wrong with this drawing, It was turning out quit well actually.

I am totally digging the crumpled/ripped look it has going on, more abstract looking.

Too bad you crumpled it up! But hey, we're all our own harshest critic. Considering how you started this drawing, the proportions turned out amazing. Looking forward to your next drawing... don't let this one get you down.
