det changeable parts

I am going to do a det engine swap next spring sometime and i am wondering what parts i could buy for de that might still work when i get my det need some extra horse power now

Unorthedox underdrive pulleys would be a good one to get now as these will work fine on your SR20DET (unless it is from a GTi-R)

Things you want to avoid are:

CAI (piping will be different)
Exhaust headers (replaced by turbo header)
Exhaust system (needs to have larger diameter piping for DET)

Virtually nothing interchanges with the GTi-R DET. Most parts interchange with the Bluebird DET.

Things you could buy now that you could use with the DET:

Cams
Cam gears
Low mass flywheel
HP clutch
POP Charger
Pulleys

If you get a JWT ECU now, you will benefit now and it will only cost you an additional $100 to get the DET program when the time comes.

thanks for all the help so far one more question thou what year bluebird motor would i need to get for those parts to line up i have 2001 de i wouldnt think they would all be interchangele but might im probally wrong just wanting to check
