Infinity stereo problems

My daughters 1995 Grand Cherokee Limited had some blown speakers in the back door panels. The left rear one wouldn't work at all. I got new speakers and installed them. The left rear still wouldn't work. After screwing around, now no speakers work. I thought maybe I'd blown a fuse, but all fuse locations look good. I thought maybe the radio was no good, so I bought one off e-bay, still not working.

Re: Infinity stereo problems

It could be the amplifier. I believe it's under the rear seat for that year.

Re: Infinity stereo problems

Does any one have a wiring diagram for these things? I have a 95 GC that I am trying to install an aftermarket Panasonic into. I bought the dash harness but I get no sound out of the speakers. I has read on this forum the this could be caused but multiple things I.E. power antenna wire, amp which I am not sure I have I need to look.

Anyway it would really help if someone out there had some wiring info for me. Thanks in advance.

Update The power antenna does not work when I turn the new head unit on, so i assume this is the problem. Also this GC does not have a factoy amp.

Found this on another thread. fixed my trouble so i thought i would post it here as well so maybe it would help someone else.
