Anyone have a '93 Metro 3 cyl Fuse Box Map?
I have a JENSEN Radio and CD Player for which I cannot figure
out the clock setting sequence. I cannot get it from JENSEN! Big Corp - no help! Good public Relations, Huh....? Someone said - "Just pull the radio's fuse out at 11:58 AM, wait until exactly 12 Noon and put the fuse back! Sounds like a good plan..... I don't want to disconnect the Battery and screw up the ECM's data bank on my driving. Well, my Fuse Block under the dash didn't come with a cover! I bought the car used. No names on the white plastic to identify what each fuse is for.... The only one I know is the raised ECM Shorting Fuse. Can anyone tell me which fuse goes to what thing in the car? Anyone got a Fuse Map (forget Chilton! Nothing!) for a '93 Metro 3 cyl. ? Maybe show us a photo of the fuse box cover - if it ever had a Map on it.... DoctorBill

Re: Anyone have a '93 Metro 3 cyl Fuse Box Map?
No fuse box diagram in a Haynes either... It does show a Radio wiring layout and shows that the standard radio has 2 power inputs both 15a fuses, one hot all the time is the tail light fuse, the key on power is the accessory fuse.
My 97 has no cover as well.. Maybe show us a pic of that Jensen, might get a response on how to set it there.

Re: Anyone have a '93 Metro 3 cyl Fuse Box Map?
I refuse to believe that Chevrolet (and later who?) manufactured an automobile
without any reference to which fuse covers what device....! Imagine the Space Shuttle without a diagram of the switches on some panel to the left of the pilot...."hey you twits! - Guess again! Got three seconds!" Right..... This is assinine! Oh! I do have a "manual" in my glove compartment - I think.....(?) One of those simple minded things that tell you where the tires go and where the gas cap screws on... Please folks! The time on my radio is several hours off and without the right time, my whole day is messed up! Won't know when to turn on Michael Savage or Rush Limbaugh! I'll miss Dr. Laura Schlessinger (Lord God!).....who listens to her! DoctorBill PS - I will take a pic of the Jensen Player front end....

Re: Anyone have a '93 Metro 3 cyl Fuse Box Map?
Fantastic!
Muchisimus gracious a vos! (bad Spanish...?) Danke! Danke, mein Herr! I pulled the ACC fuse and the radio is dead....now I can set the time at Noon tomorrow! I finally went out and found my "Owner's Manual" in the jockey box and leafed thru the 275 pages of it and found the information below. I scanned it, enlarged and rotated the diagram so that it is more useful... Click on the thumbnail. ![]() What is so crazy and insane is that this diagram in the manual is a 180° Rotated image of what you would see kneeling down and looking up at the Fuse Box! Actually I am going to go ahead and FIX this image so that it makes sense when you look at it versus the Fuse Box! Screw the manual and those twits.... This is what YOU see under the dash! ![]() and if you'd like something to print out and put in your Glove (Jockey) Box - how's this? ![]() DoctorBill

OK....here is a picture of the JENSEN Radio/CD Player...
![]() Does anyone know how to set the time on this bugger-all radio? Pulling the fuse didn't work. Comes up random time apparently. DoctorBill

Re: Anyone have a '93 Metro 3 cyl Fuse Box Map?
its a different fuse that resets the time to 12, there are 2 power wires for the radio, one is for key on other keeps the memory and time set

Re: Anyone have a '93 Metro 3 cyl Fuse Box Map?
Not sure about setting the time but the manual for the Jensen model CD-6111 found here:
http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/s...5022&langId=-1 says to hold the "DISPLAY" button down until the display flashes and then using the tuning up and down buttons to set the time. Don't know if this is applicable to your model but it might give you an idea of how to proceed. Hope this helps |

Re: Anyone have a '93 Metro 3 cyl Fuse Box Map?
Thanks so much....
That worked. Except I have to go side to side with the tuning knob. My biggest problem was that I had to realize that I was holding the "DISP" button down while trying the knob movement! You must stop pressing it before trying to adjust the time once it is blinking... I did not realize I was doing that for quite a while...I almost gave up trying to set the time when by accident I let go.... Dumber than a post! The unit also reverts if you don't do it "chop chop!" Thanks again. I'll write this down and keep it in the Glove box. DoctorBill

Re: Anyone have a '93 Metro 3 cyl Fuse Box Map?
No prob Doc. Sorry you had so much trouble. That step was left out of the manual and it's those little details that
can be such a pain in the butt sometimes. Anyway at least it's done, right? Hope you (and everyone reading this) have a Merry Christmas
