Re: horn resistor

My heater and a/c blower won't work.put in a new motor still won' t blow. checked the resistor can't tell if it's good or bad. I read on the forum that before i buy a new one use the horn resistor or relay.

I think I understand - Blower Motor Resistor Pack!

There may be a main relay under the hood for the blower. I would look at the chart under the cover & see if you can swap it with the horn relay.

Otherwise, the blower motor resistor pack should be mounted near the fan, but you probably know that already.

Take Care,

Re: horn resistor

Yeah..the resistor and relay are different things.

The resistor is the problem if the blower will blow on high but not low.

The relay could be the problem if the blower does not blow at all.

First check the fuse and then subsitute the horn relay for the blower relay.
On the later model like mine...the blower relay is behind the glove box and the horn relay is in the right hand kick panel. Covers and stuff need to be removed to get to them. The relays are cheap anyway...under 20 bucks..more like 15...

What year? recommend a manual...

It looks like you are running a double post on this.
What is the deal?
Two post will get you two confusing answers.
