Something to share Where's KustomAce?

So last night there was a DHP X-Mas party but I couldn't make it due to a family emergency. Today the guys called a quick get together at Sonic. There they not only fixed my busted carb, (Apparently I drive so hard and so fast my sheer studliness snapped part of my linkage) they also gave me a couple of gifts.

Mike Grady was kind enough to give me this:

Yeah...he even has the bass. Token is my dawg. As far as I'm concerned the show is about him and Chef. Grady knows this.

Then they gave me a box to open and in it was....wait let me do a quick back story.

Last year about this time I held a draw Mistie (my car) contest. I got entries from all over the world.

Here's the contest slide show.

Celebrity judges included cartoonist Patty B, Jeri Clow, George Trosley, me and Joe Chirco.

Very cool.

One of the entries was from Kustomace. He did a striped piece of my car on metal. He came in second or third anyway...I wanted to get the piece from him but just never got around to it. I figured I could set in the car at shows cause it was cool. So yeah.....they got it for me.

It's so much better in real life Ace!! wow!! I'm floored. Beautiful work.

p.s. Now...it's been almost a year since there was a contest around here. I think there should be another one. I don't care which one of you starts it just make it flexible enough so more people can participate (that was my mistake). I will enter whatever the contest is (just to participate, not to win). I will also help whomever sets this up by doing a video slide show or showing them how to as well as seiing if I can get people like Al to stop hiding and start drawing.

Great gifts and Merry Christmas to you and everyone else too.

The contest idea was fun, and I hope we do see another again.

Ok #1, KustomAce did that? Even the drawing/rendering? Damn I remember some of his 1st pinstripings he posted on AF. Hes got so serious skillz.
#2 Yes! We need a good solid Contest. But Obviously there are noticable skill levels on this forum. How will that work?
